Step 1: make the cream filling
Add the fresh cream and granulated sugar into the bowl and whisk it for 6 minutes. Then, add the mascarpone cheese and mix for an additional 7 minutes.
Step 2: cut the fruit into shapes
Let your imagination run wild and cut the fruit into all sorts of fun shapes.
You can use a cookie cutter for neater shapes.
Step 3: add the filling
Spread the cream filling on a bread slice, place the fruit, add more cream on top and cover it all with another slice of bread. Repeat this step for the remaining bread slices.
You can even make a fun kiwi wrap by placing kiwi slices in a line overlapping each other, spreading a little cream on top and rolling it all into a tube.
Step 4: wrap in plastic and cool
Wrap the sandwiches in plastic and make diagonal markings on top so you know the direction you need to slice your sandwich to achieve the flower look. Place in fridge and let cool for 20 minutes.
Step 5: cut in half and enjoy!
Cut the sandwiches in half following the diagonal markings you made earlier. The end result should reveal beautiful flowers in the cross section. Enjoy!
