Hugo Suissas is a self-taught Lisbon-based photographer who proves that you can make any photo much more interesting by trying out a different perspective. The photographer regularly incorporates all sorts of props – from markers to cans of deodorant – in his photos, and the results are guaranteed to mess with your eyes!
Hugo said that he got into photography 9 years ago, and that it’s the fact that a single image has the power to impact and help solve serious problems in the world is what inspires him. “What I like the most in photography is when I have a novel idea that I haven’t seen anywhere else,” explains the photographer. “What I like the least is when copycats try to copy my work, showing a great deal of lack of respect for others and for the artist community.”
